About this print:
This print is spiritually inspired. The kaleidoscope of color in "The Prayer" is very moving. Place this in your home when you need to be inspired by Truth. My inspiration was the beautiful soul, Sojourner Truth, who in 1852 responded: "And Ain't I woman?" at the famous Seneca Falls women's rights convention. When men were heckling the women presenters, Sojourner rose to tell her story and ask the men this question. I was so moved by her courage to do this (particularly her courage to face all the white, powerful women who were running the show) and her articulate brilliance in that moment that I wanted to paint a woman with the essence of her bravery and spiritual fortitude. Photos shown are of actual print.
